HSC 2027 & HSC 2028 • BANGLADESH (ALL GENERAL BOARDS) A+ Roadmap — Business Organization & Management — 2nd Paper Subject Code 278 Ten chapters, eleven questions. This is the most predictable paper in the entire Commerce group — which means it is also the one where losing marks is entirely your own doing. What this document is. A 14-month study plan, chapter priority map and exam-technique manual for this paper. It does not teach the syllabus content — your NCTB textbook and guide book already do that. It tells you what to study, in what order, how deep, and how to write it in the exam hall. Business Organization & Management 2nd Paper (278) HSC 2027 & 2028 — A+ Roadmap 1. Read This First This paper has a structural feature that no other paper in your group has, and it should decide your whole strategy: Ten chapters, eleven questions — read what that means Eleven CQ are set from ten chapters, and you answer seven. In practice that means roughly one question from every chapter, with one or two chapters contributing a second. If you prepare eight chapters properly you will always find your seven. If you prepare only five, you will be forced into questions you cannot finish. This is the paper where breadth beats depth. Three consequences: 1. Do not gamble on ”important chapters”. Chapter-skipping strategies fail in 278 because the coverage is so even. Prepare all ten at a solid level rather than five at a brilliant one. 2. Named theories are guaranteed marks. Fayol’s fourteen principles, Taylor’s scientific manage- ment, Maslow’s hierarchy, Herzberg’s two factors, McGregor’s Theory X and Y. Each is a self- contained answer that cannot be reasoned out — it must be memorised, and once memorised it is never wrong. 3. Diagrams earn marks. Organisation charts, the communicatio

Business Organization & Management 2nd Paper (278) HSC 2027 & 2028 — A+ Roadmap Structure of one CQ (10 marks) Part Marks Level What to write Target length (ক) 1 Knowledge One precise definition or the name of a concept 1–2 lines (খ) 2 Comprehension Concept explained plus an example. No stimulus needed 4–5 lines (গ) 3 Application Identify the management function/style/theory in the stimulus and prove it with 3 points 10–12 lines (ঘ) 4 Higher order A stand, 3 stimulus-linked arguments, a concession, a verdict 14–16 lines Do all seven (ক) and (খ) parts first Twenty-one marks in about twenty-five minutes, before you touch a single (গ). It removes all risk of losing easy marks to the clock and lets the harder parts settle in your mind while you write. 3. Chapter Priority Map Because coverage is so even, the tiers here mean order of study and depth, not permission to skip. Every chapter in this paper must be prepared. Ch Chapter Tier Typical CQ / paper Why it matters 1 Concept of Management B 1 Functions and levels feed every later chapter 2 Principles of Management A 1–2 Fayol and Taylor — pure recall, guaranteed marks 3 Planning & Decision Making A 1–2 Steps, types and the decision pr
