HSC 2027 & HSC 2028 • BANGLADESH (ALL GENERAL BOARDS) A+ Roadmap — Accounting 2nd Paper Subject Code 254 Harder than 1st Paper, and scored higher by students who prepare properly — because most of the class runs out of time here. Company accounts, ratio analysis and cost account- ing are the exact topics that reappear in every BBA admission test. What this document is. A 14-month study plan, chapter priority map and exam-technique manual for this paper. It does not teach the syllabus content — your NCTB textbook and guide book already do that. It tells you what to study, in what order, how deep, and how to write it in the exam hall. Accounting 2nd Paper (254) HSC 2027 & 2028 — A+ Roadmap 1. Read This First Accounting 2nd Paper is where the Commerce group splits into two halves: students who treated 1st Paper as a skill and students who treated it as reading. If your journal, ledger and adjustment discipline from 1st Paper is solid, this paper is a set of new formats applied to old logic. If it is not, fix 1st Paper Chapters 3, 9 and 11 before you open Chapter 2 here. Three things make this paper different: 1. The formats are longer but fewer. There are perhaps nine distinct statement layouts in the whole paper. Once each is memorised as a blank skeleton, the questions become substitution exercises. 2. Ratio analysis is pure marks. Chapter 6 is formula recall plus one line of interpretation. Nothing in this syllabus gives more marks per hour of study. 3. Cost accounting is where students give up. Chapters 7–9 are usually rushed in the last month and are usually the reason a student lands at 72 instead of 85. Schedule them early, not last. What A+ actually requires in this paper 80+ for A+. Target 26–28 / 30 in MCQ and 55–60 / 70 in CQ. The realistic route is to make Chapters 1, 2, 4, 5 and 6 completely reliable
