HSC 2027 & HSC 2028 • BANGLADESH (ALL GENERAL BOARDS) A+ Roadmap — Accounting 1st Paper Subject Code 253 The single highest-leverage paper in the Commerce group. It decides your GPA, and it decides your BBA admission test. Every mark in this paper is a mark you can engineer — there is almost nothing here that depends on luck. What this document is. A 14-month study plan, chapter priority map and exam-technique manual for this paper. It does not teach the syllabus content — your NCTB textbook and guide book already do that. It tells you what to study, in what order, how deep, and how to write it in the exam hall. Accounting 1st Paper (253) HSC 2027 & 2028 — A+ Roadmap 1. Read This First Accounting 1st Paper is a skill paper, not a memory paper. Roughly 70 of the 100 marks come from problems you solve with a pen, not facts you recall. That has three consequences that shape this entire plan: 1. Reading the chapter is not studying the chapter. A chapter is finished only when you can solve a fresh board problem from it, alone, on paper, inside the time limit. 2. Marks are lost on format, not on logic. Most students who ”know” the chapter still drop 2–3 marks per question on missing headings, missing date columns, wrong ordering in the Balance Sheet, or no working notes. This is the cheapest 10 marks in the whole exam to recover. 3. The chapters compound. Chapter 3 feeds Chapter 4, which feeds Chapter 6, which feeds Chapter 9, which feeds Chapter 11. A weak Chapter 3 silently costs you marks in five later chapters. Never skip forward past a weak base. What A+ actually requires in this paper A+ is GPA 5.00, which needs 80+ in this paper. A realistic, repeatable target split is 26–28 out of 30 in MCQ and 55–60 out of 70 in CQ. Notice what that means: you do not need perfect CQ answers. You need se
Accounting 1st Paper (253) HSC 2027 & 2028 — A+ Roadmap The 2-mark part is where A+ students get careless Part (ক) is free marks and takes 90 seconds. Students who rush straight to the big calculation and ”come back to কlater” routinely never come back. Answer (ক) first, always, for all seven questions. Which 7 of the 11 to choose You will not be given a choice within the paper by chapter — you choose freely. Use this rule in the first five minutes: 1. Read all 11 stimuli. Mark each one Yes / Maybe / No in the margin. 2. Pick your 7 in this order: (a) numeric questions from chapters you are strong in; (b) theory- leaning questions; (c) anything left. 3. Never choose a question because part (ক) looks easy. Choose it because you can finish part (গ). Part (গ) carries the marks. 3. Chapter Priority Map Tier A = highest board frequency and highest marks return; master these to near-perfection. Tier B = appears most years, or feeds a Tier A chapter. Tier C = low CQ frequency, but still MCQ-relevant — never skip, just study lighter. Ch Chapter Tier Typical CQ / paper Why it matters 1 Introduction to Accounting C 0–1 MCQ mine: users, branches, objectives 2 Accounting Equation & Transaction
