Budget 2. Do you need “IELTS for UKVI”? 1. The one big cost: the exam fee This is 85–95% of your total budget. Everything else is small. British Council and IDP charge almost the same amount — the two One Skill Retake figures above differ by a few hundred taka between the two providers, which is why a range is shown. Choose on date and location, not price. Your test: IELTS Academic on Computer — BDT 29,600. 2. Do you need “IELTS for UKVI”? Getting this right can save you BDT 3,600. This confuses almost everyone. Here is the simple version. IELTS for UKVI is the same test. Same questions, same difficulty, same score. The only difference is that the test centre follows extra UK government security rules, and you get a slightly different result form. That is why it costs more.
